james started djing in the bedroom at the age of 16. he played his first clubs in birmingham, whilst at university. after a brief lull dabbling in the world of banking he resumed his love of djing and is part of the housekeeping collective. james’ influences range across all underground dance music from 70s jazz funk through to disco and house.

carl housekeeping started composing music at the tender age of 14 on his amiga. through university he developed his technical skills and applied them to his music. he has his own studio and is producing house music as well as djing with housekeeping. he brings technology to the dance floor always looking for new ways to please a crowd. carl has been playing the funkiest of house since his university years in birmingham and in 2001 formed housekeeping with like minded djs, taking the house scene in london by storm by playing fresh funky music with sprinklings of peak time madness and receiving 5 star reviews from clubbers and promoters alike. his ability to turn a crowd around and captivating them into a peak time frenzy is legendary. carl has played in london, new york, oslo, ibiza and hong kong at clubs such as pacha, the cross, egg, turnmills and playing for such promotions as cream, space, funkt’up, glitterati, abstract and lovetec to name a few. carl really enjoys battling with the rest of the housekeeping crew creating not only a competitive spell blinding set but also a crowd engaging spectacle to make any night a fun and funky one.

tom began his journey into dance music through being subjected to his brothers collection of 80s electro and not long after he was searching the records shelves for the latest trance records. he bought his first pair of decks at university and hasn’t looked back since. tom’s sets are characterised by mixing up deep and funky us house with spine tingling trance epics.
